Happy Halloween! Well, we just got back from hurricane chasing in the south pacific. Category 2 hurricane paul came close enough to us on the bottom tip of baja to give us a couple days of solid surf. Big thanks go out to freedom surf shop and everyone we shared the trip with. Good times were had by all. Look for pics of the trip to be up by the end of the week. you can check out our myspace page now for a sneak peak!

We are currently revamping the site so for now you can find all our photos in the archive section........This saturday is packed with things to do...chickens having a sample sale from 10-2, freedom surf has a lot of apparrel 50% off, and bucky lasek is doing a demo on the new vert ramp at trashmore from 10-2.

Wow! its been a crazy couple of weeks for us. After getting stuck in orlando for two extra days, we made it home only to find overhead tubes in buxton. we have tons of great shots being posted in the next day or so so keep checkin back you wont be disappointed.

This week is proving to be a big week for the surf industry. Clark foam shut its doors today with no warning. It is estimated that 90% of the worlds blanks came from clark foams so their shutting down will have huge impacts on all surfers and especially shapers. basically almost all the shapers in the world just got their supply cut-off with no other company able to step up and fill the void. Also tahitian big wave charger malik joyeux died this week surfing 6-8ft pipeline. read more on surfline. On a brighter note the highly anticipated esm video "always right" will be premeiring this friday night at chichos. showtimes are 7pm and 930pm. vbsurfphotos will be on hand so come down and enjoy the show!

Do you want a Virginia Surfrider License Plate? The Virginia Beach Chapter has made Virginia Surfrider license plates a reality. They have been approved by Governor Mark Warner and are almost in production. Why almost? Well, they need more applications. In order to start processing the plates we need to gather 350 applications along with the $10 charge for each application. Once the tally hits 350, the plates will go into production and from that point forward will be available directly from DMV. More info.

well, tragedy struck vbsurfphotos on sunday. while on location in avon mother ocean claimed two of our cameras and both our cell phones. luckily she redeemed herself by giving us way overhead glassy barrels. part one of Irene pics are up in the archive section. check em out!
